Reading a Blog
When you select a blog from the Blogs list page, Tiki displays the blog's header information and a full page of posts.

Searching in Blogs
Use the Find box to perform a text search within this blog's posts.
Note
Only blog posts that contain the search text will be displayed.

Using the RSS Feed
Tiki can automatically create an RSS feed for each blog, if configured. The RSS link will appear in the blog's header.

Viewing the Permalink
A permalink is the permanent, complete, URL for a specific blog post. Tiki automatically creates permalinks for every blog post.
When viewing a blog, the permalink appears at the end of each post.
Click Permalink to display only the selected blog post.
Emailing Blog Posts
You can easily send blog posts to other people. Tiki includes a "Send to Friend" feature for every blog entry.
- Click the Email This Post (
) link at the bottom of the blog entry.
- On the Send Blog Post page, enter the email address of people that you want to to send the post to.
- Click Send. Tiki will send the following email to each person:
Hi, ''YOUR USERNAME'' has sent you this link: Blog post: ''TITLE OF THE BLOG POST'' at: ~np~http://www.yourdomain.com/tiki-view_blog_post.php?postId=1&blogId=1
Note
The email will come "from" the Sender Email address that you entered on the Administration: General page.
